My goal is to shift the focus from picking a specific technique to creating a session that genuinely meets your body’s needs—rooted in structural awareness and focused therapeutic touch.
The stress of having to find and choose the “right” treatment can sometimes add to what you’re already experiencing. That’s why I created a session designed to ease that pressure—allowing your body’s needs to guide the treatment naturally, so whatever healing needs to happen, can happen.
This is not a one-size-fits-all treatment. I’ve designed my remedial massage sessions to be fully integrative: instead of booking separate treatments for dry needling, cupping, or deep tissue work, we draw from the tools your body needs in the moment.
A single session may include:
-
Deep Tissue & Myofascial Release – to address adhesions, release tension, and restore mobility.
-
Joint Mobilisation – to reduce stiffness and improve functional movement.
-
Dry Needling & Cupping (if suitable) – optional techniques used to target pain and enhance circulation, where clinically appropriate.
-
Breathwork & Nervous System Regulation – to support a shift into a healing, parasympathetic state.
This flexible, needs-based approach ensures that you receive the most effective treatment possible—sometimes pure presence and hands-on touch are the most powerful remedy. Whether you're working through chronic pain, postural imbalances, nerve irritation, or simply seeking relief from stress, your session is tailored to support lasting change.
01
Focus
Not just on where you feel pain, but why it’s there—working with the full chain of movement, underlying muscle patterns, and how your body has adapted over time.
03
Technique
My approach is rooted in the belief that true healing begins only when the nervous system feels safe and regulated. Since the nervous system controls every function in the body, when it’s dysregulated, it’s like removing the queen bee from a hive—the entire system struggles to function harmoniously and heal effectively. We use massage, cupping and dry needling to find what works for the body.
02
Purpose
To explore the root causes of discomfort—whether structural, muscular, or nervous system-based—and create lasting change through focused, intelligent touch.

Duration

What to expect
Consultation – We’ll discuss your medical history, lifestyle, and areas of discomfort to create a personalized treatment plan. This also helps determine whether tools like dry needling, cupping, or deep tissue work are suitable for you.
Targeted Massage Therapy – The hands-on portion of the session will be tailored to address muscle tension, nerve discomfort, and mobility issues using the best techniques for your body. My signature oil blends will be incorporated to enhance therapeutic effects.
Post-Session Review & Plan – After your massage, we’ll discuss key findings, areas of tension, and recommended next steps. You’ll also receive a follow-up document outlining what we discovered and a plan for continued progress.
Contraindications & Health Considerations
If you have any medical conditions that may affect your treatment (such as pregnancy, circulatory disorders, or recent injuries), please review the contraindications before booking. Some conditions may require adjustments to the treatment plan, while others may mean that certain techniques are not suitable. If you’re unsure, please contact me beforehand, and we’ll find the best approach for you.
So let's discuss the benefits deeper:
Remedial Massage:
-
Relieves chronic pain and muscle tension by targeting specific areas of discomfort and working on trigger points, leading to a significant reduction in pain levels and improved mobility.
-
Improves posture and alignment by addressing muscle imbalances and tightness, helping to realign the body and prevent future discomfort or injuries.
-
Enhances recovery from injury by promoting blood flow to injured areas, reducing inflammation, and accelerating the healing process through targeted treatment.
-
Increases flexibility and range of motion by releasing tight muscles and fascia, making everyday movements easier and improving overall physical performance.
-
Supports mental clarity and emotional balance by reducing physical discomfort, which can help alleviate anxiety and promote a sense of calm and focus.
-
Supports mental clarity and emotional balance by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes the release of endorphins, oxytocin, and serotonin, helping to alleviate anxiety and enhance mood, leading to a greater sense of calm and improved focus.
Why don't you do longer than 90 minutes for remedial massage? Longer sessions can lead to fatigue for both the therapist and the client, potentially diminishing the effectiveness of the treatment. A 90-minute session is typically sufficient to address specific issues while ensuring you remain comfortable and engaged.
It's my first time coming, and I usually get a full body massage, but I have an ache I want to work on. What should I do? We can certainly tailor your session to focus on your specific needs. I will start with a brief consultation to assess the dull ache and then we can work on it a bit longer. Just remember, when we use that time to zone in on the area, it does take time away from the rest of the body. I do my best to make sure you feel you've had a complete full body! But that is why I have the two options- so if you want to have the full body experience first we can then tailor a remedial massage for your next session. It works best as well because we would have had a "full scope" of your body in the Full Body massage.
What oils do you use? I use grapeseed oil as the carrier oil, which is known for its lightweight texture and excellent absorption. It also offers benefits like moisturizing the skin, being rich in antioxidants, and having anti-inflammatory properties. Along with the carrier oil, I have signature blends for specific needs: Anxiety: Promotes relaxation and calmness Calm: Enhances tranquility and reduces stress Muscle: Provides relief and soothes soreness
Can I relax during a remedial massage? Absolutely! While remedial massage focuses on specific issues, many clients find it relaxing. Your relationship with pain is key; some people enjoy deeper pressure and may even fall asleep, which can greatly facilitate the work on the muscles.
Do you talk during your sessions? I let you lead the way in terms of conversation. During a remedial session, I tend to check in more frequently to gather feedback as we work through different muscle groups. However, if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere, I'm happy to take your cue and allow for quieter moments.
Why don't you do shorter than an hour? Sessions shorter than an hour often don’t provide enough time to effectively address your needs. A minimum of one hour allows us to thoroughly assess your condition and apply the appropriate techniques for a meaningful treatment experience.
I’m postnatal—when can I get a massage, and which one should I book? The timing for a postnatal massage depends on your type of birth, the specific areas you want to address, and how comfortably you can lay on the table. I always adapt the sessions to suit your needs, ensuring you feel comfortable and supported. Feel free to give me a call
